Job Title: Night Cook

We are hiring immediately for a Full-Time Night Cook position at Morrison Healthcare.

Location: Ochsner Stennis, 14365 Hwy 16 W, De Kalb, MS 39328. Note: Online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; open availability preferred. Weekends are required; more details provided upon interview.

Requirement: Previous cook experience preferred.

Pay Range: $13.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares food according to established standards, ensuring quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepares high-quality food items based on standardized recipes to meet production and service schedules.
2. Serves meals using correct portioning, ensuring proper temperature and presentation.
3. Maintains records during service and follows established ticket collection procedures.
4. Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen, stores excess food safely, and disposes of waste properly.
5. Keeps refrigerators and storerooms organized and ensures proper storage of food and supplies.
6. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
7. Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as needed.
8. Assists with ordering and receiving food and supplies.
9. Reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately.
10. Performs additional duties as assigned.
