Job summary

Redeem & Restore Center in Waukesha, WI seeks a compassionate care associate for night shifts (8pm–8am). You will provide direct resident care, document case files, and respond to emergencies while supporting emotional and spiritual well-being.

This part-time role requires emotional maturity, crisis experience, teamwork, confidentiality, and a proactive, trauma-informed approach. Expect 1–5 nights per week, with $75 per night and $15 for extra hours, and a commuting requirement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift household operations and complete documentation of resident files and staff communication.
• Provide care to residents and make decisions in emergencies; oversee resident care including medications.
• Offer comfort and prayer during nightmares or spiritual warfare; provide emotional support.
• Enforce RRC rules and maintain a stable, safe environment; facilitate conflict resolution.
• Participate in staff training; uphold Redeem & Restore Center values and policies.

Oversees specific household operations and resident care in team dynamic.

Position Summary

This position involves direct care with the residents. This role reports directly to the Executive Director. Night Shifts are 8pm-8am. Be prepared to be stretched and blessed continually by God. (sleeping is recommended during shift)

Position Specific Duties

• Oversee shift household operations, including:
  
  
  
  • Complete appropriate documentation of resident case files and staff communication.
  
  
  • Report any resident or facility incidents to the Coach Manager ASAP.
  
  
  
  


• Provide care to residents and make decisions in emergency situations.
  
  
  
  • Responsible for overseeing resident care - including medication needs.
  
  
  • If awakened for nightmares or spiritual warfare, offer comfort and prayer.
  
  
  • Be present and available for emotional support, spiritual encouragement and prayer.
  
  
  • Implement the safety protocols in all situations.
  
  
  
  


• Enforcement RRC rules and protocols with residents and volunteers.
  
  
  
  • Maintain a stable, safe environment and facilitate conflict-resolution within Home
  
  
  • Implement trauma-sensitive corrective conversations and redirection where needed, while keeping household physical and emotional safety in mind.
  
  
  • Respond appropriately, with respect and compassion, when enforcing house rules.
  
  
  
  


• Participate in regular staff training programs, and accept the responsibility for aiding the development of positive team relationships.
