Advocate Health is seeking a CNA for the Emergency Department at Lexington Medical Center in North Carolina. The role supports admissions, documentation, and patient care under RN supervision. You will interact with patients, families, and staff in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires CNA certification, BCLS/CPR, and a high school diploma. Nights, 7p–7a, with every other weekend schedule are offered, and full-time benefits are included.

Formación

• High school senior or graduate (or equivalent) required.
• Clinical experience preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or CPR required.

Responsabilidades

• Completes clerical duties for patient admissions and assembling of medical records.
• Ensures complete, confidential, accurate and timely communication of patient information.
• Handles and screens incoming calls, and transmits messages as necessary.
• Communicates to the team, co-workers, patients and family members in an effective, positive and professional manner.
• Contributes to a safe, secure and therapeutic environment for patients, visitors, physicians and co-workers by following established procedures.
• Conducts work in an organized, quiet, efficient manner and demonstrates ability to cope with stressful situations.
• Performs NA1+4 skills within the guidelines of medical facilities NA-1 Enhancer Program.
• Provides or assists the patient with personal hygiene, comfort, and activities of daily living under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Completes assigned unit responsibilities and assists other staff members in completion of their duties when time permits.
• Provides age/developmental appropriate patient care in accordance with Age/Developmental Specific Care Guidelines for the specific age groups served.
