Responsibilities

• Assists in admission of patients to the unit and orients to unit and equipment.
• Responds to patient needs with direct assistance or by reporting to appropriate staff.
• Assists with implementing the nursing plan of care and carries out delegated tasks.
• Maintains patient safety and uses equipment and supplies properly.
• Accesses medication/supply room to retrieve items for patient care.
