Job summary

Brookridge, a ThriveMore of NC Community in Winston-Salem, NC, seeks a full-time CNA/MedAide to safely administer medications and support residents. Night shifts, overtime, and weekend availability are required as part of a dedicated care team.

The responsible candidate will document accurately, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and pharmacists to ensure resident safety and comfort in a living care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid North Carolina Nurse Aide I registry listing.
• Active on the Medication Aide Registry operated by NC DHSR.
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• One year of LTC or assisted living experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per orders and facility protocol.
• Take and record vital signs; report changes promptly to nurse.
• Maintain secure, organized medication carts and storage areas.
• Document all medications and treatments accurately in MARs.
• Refer medication questions to nurse, physician, or pharmacist as needed.
• Assist residents with feeding, mobility, and ADLs as required.
• Follow infection control, safety and universal precautions.
