Job summary

MediLodge of Livingston is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the night shift. The role focuses on compassionate, patient-centered care for residents in a long-term care setting. You will work under supervision to support daily living activities and ensure comfort and safety.

Starting wage ranges from $23.40 to $33.30 per hour, with incentives and daily pay options. Qualified candidates will have a CNA certification and prior long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtain food trays and assist residents with feeding.
• Assist residents with range of motion exercises, and movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assist resident with turning and positioning in bed.
• Assist resident with ambulation for short distances within the facility.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake as directed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
