Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: 1 year preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Complete NAI program; listed as NA I; Medication Safety-AMe required.
• Basic computer skills for documentation are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and support daily activities to promote comfort and dignity.
• Serve as a trusted partner to nurses and providers to share observations and support care plans.
• Assist with safe mobility, ambulation, repositioning, and fall-prevention to ensure safe patient progress.
• Document vitals and patient status accurately to strengthen communication and decision-making.
• Create a calm, supportive environment for patients and families, setting expectations and offering reassurance.
• Provide and document assistance with activities of daily living under RN supervision.
