Job summary

Masonic Homes Kentucky recruits a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, hands-on care in a resident-centered setting. You will assist with ADLs, monitor health, document vital signs, and collaborate with licensed nurses to support daily well-being.

This role offers flexible schedules (day, evening, overnight), same-day pay, transportation passes, and a uniform stipend with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Kentucky CNA certification (active and in good standing).
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable, flexible, and committed to resident-centered care.
• Excellent communication with residents, families and staff.
• Empathy, respect and professionalism in every interaction.
• Physical ability to lift, move and assist residents as needed.
• Successful completion of pre-screening hiring requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, eating and mobility.
• Observe and reporting changes in residents’ health to licensed nurses.
• Obtain and document vital signs.
• Support residents’ physical and emotional well-being with compassion and consistency.
• Transport, lifting and repositioning residents safely using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Maintain clean and safe resident environments, including restocking and sanitizing areas.
• Assist with isolation procedures and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other caregivers to ensure quality care delivery.
