Qualifications

• Current Kentucky CNA certification (active and in good standing).
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable, flexible, and committed to resident-centered care.
• Excellent communication skills with residents, families and staff.
• Empathy, respect and professionalism in every interaction.
• Physical ability to lift, move and assist residents as needed.
• Successful completion of pre-screening hiring requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, eating and mobility.
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ health to licensed nurses.
• Obtain and document vital signs.
• Supporting residents’ physical and emotional well-being with compassion and consistency.
• Transporting, lifting and repositioning residents safely using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment.
• Maintaining clean and safe resident environments, including restocking and sanitizing areas.
• Assisting with isolation procedures and following all infection control protocols.
• Collaborating with nurses, therapists, and other caregivers to ensure quality care delivery.
