Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Cardiac Surgery Unit on a part-time, 0.75 FTE night shift. The role supports nursing staff by performing basic patient care, vital signs, and daily living activities under RN supervision. Compensation ranges between $22.35 and $33.16 per hour, with benefits and union considerations as applicable.

Qualified candidates will have an Oregon CNA license and BLS certification. Prior acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold CNA license for Oregon.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing direct patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
• Take and record vital signs and monitor patient status.
• Provide patient personal care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Support mobility and patient transfers; help with walking and positioning.
• Maintain unit supplies and assist with clerical tasks as needed.
