Job summary

Century Park Associates’ Andover Court Assisted Living in Kansas is seeking a Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) for full-time 3rd shift (10pm–6am). We offer a 2-week rotation, shift differential, competitive wages and excellent benefits.

The CMA delivers quality assisted living services under QMAP/Med Tech guidance, reports to the Resident Care Director, and ensures safe medication administration per plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Med Tech or QMAP certification; certification must remain current during employment.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire; must remain current during employment.
• One year of experience in senior services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows policies for medication administration, ordering, and delivery.
• Immediately reports med errors or missing medications.
• Provides quality care to residents per care plan.
• Promotes resident independence per service plan.
• Complies with infection control guidelines.
• Ensures proper transfer of medication cart between shifts, including narcotic count.
• Documents medication administration in the EHR per policy.
• Participates in community activities and events with residents.
• Demonstrates patience, compassion and integrity with residents.
