Job summary

Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking a dedicated Clinical Technician 2 for the Float Pool. This full-time night role (36 hours weekly) runs 7pm–7:30am with a rotating weekend schedule and a paid 6-week training program to start.

The position focuses on direct patient care under RN supervision, with opportunities to develop clinical skills and professional growth in a nationally recognized health system.

Qualifications

• 1 year acute care experience as Clinical Tech or 2 years of nursing school
• High School diploma or equivalent
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Proficient in English; strong verbal and written communication

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the RN supervision with routine, standardized care and predictable outcomes.
• Communicates effectively with health team members, patients and families; collaborates with others.
• Supports unit leadership with overseeing Clinical Technician education records.
• Respects and understands other clinical disciplines; maintains competencies and pursues professional development.
• Identifies learning needs and pursues lifelong learning to increase clinical knowledge.
• Performs phlebotomy, IV starts/removal, and other skills during training period.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
