Job summary

UofL Health is hiring a Clinical Staff Pharmacist for the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. Qualifications

• Graduated from an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Post-Graduate Year 1 (PGY-1) Pharmacy Residency or three (3) years of relevant work experience (preferred).
• Licensed or license eligible as a pharmacist in Kentucky (required).
• Current BLS certification or obtain within 90 days; ACLS as determined by leadership (required).

Responsibilities

• Delivers comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients.
• Reviews medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness and efficacy.
• Provides pharmacokinetic consultations and dosing recommendations.
• Mentors pharmacy technicians, students and residents.
• Participates in formulary management and cost avoidance.
