You will work independently, maintain high cleanliness standards, and join a team with over 35 years of experience serving commercial, institutional, and government clients.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in janitorial or related cleaning roles.
• Ability to safely operate janitorial tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to work evenings and maintain reliability.
• Ability to pass background screening.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services restrooms.
• Sweeps, vacuums, and mops floors and stairways.

Position Summary

D & A Building Services is seeking dependable and hardworking Night Cleaners / Janitorial Custodians to join our team serving facilities in East Orlando and Oviedo, Florida. This is a hands-on evening position responsible for keeping assigned facilities clean, safe, and ready for the next business day. You'll perform routine janitorial and custodial duties including cleaning restrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, removing trash, dusting, and maintaining common areas. We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing the job right, works well independently, and can be counted on to consistently maintain high standards of cleanliness. Key Responsibilities

• Cleans and services restrooms.
• Sweeps, vacuums, and mops floors and stairways.
• Gathers and disposes of rubbish and waste materials by hand or with the use of powered equipment.
• Dusts such items as blinds, furniture, file cabinets.
• Polishes furniture, metal work and chrome using appropriate cleaning and polishing compounds.
• Washes wall, ceiling, woodwork, windows, mirrors, and fixtures using both step and extension ladders.
• Cleans grounds and parking lots of litter, glass, or other debris.
• Loads and unloads supplies, and move heavy furniture and equipment using dollies, handcarts, or power equipment.
• Replaces light bulbs and fuses.
• Accept additional duties as necessary in a cooperative manner.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of janitorial, custodial, commercial cleaning, or related experience.
• Ability to safely operate common janitorial tools and equipment, including vacuum cleaners and floor-care equipment.
• Ability to properly use cleaning products, compounds, and solutions according to instructions.
• Ability to read and understand product labels, safety information, and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently and reliably complete assigned cleaning responsibilities.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and stoop for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Dependable transportation and ability to consistently report for scheduled evening shifts.
• Ability to successfully meet applicable background screening requirements.

Compensation & Schedule

Hourly Pay: $15.00 per hour

Available Schedules: Evening shifts may include:

• Monday through Friday: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM
