Position Details:

• Title: Part-Time Night Cleaner
• Reports To: Facilities Director
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:30 - 10:30 PM, with opportunities for additional hours as needed

The Opportunity:

The Binghamton JCC is seeking a dedicated individual to maintain cleanliness of our facility. Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning classrooms, bathrooms, health clubs, and locker rooms
• Handling set-ups and take-downs for events (e.g., setting out Pickleball nets, arranging tables and chairs)
• Mopping floors, hallways, and stairwells
• Vacuuming rugs and shampooing carpets
• Using an auto-scrubber (training provided) for hallways, meeting rooms, and the auditorium
• Performing other miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Who You Are: The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience cleaning commercial or educational facilities, reliable transportation, punctuality, independence, a passion for cleaning, and good time management skills. Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment is preferred; training will be provided.
