The Biltmore Los Angeles is seeking a Shampoo/Cleaner to uphold luxury hotel cleanliness and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

You will support day-to-day housekeeping operations, collaborate with frontline teams, and contribute to a culture of accountability and excellence. This role requires a passion for hospitality, strong communication, and flexibility to work varied shifts.

• Dust and clean furniture and fixtures, including hard-to-reach areas.
• Clean and polish brass, glass, windows, and mirrors.
• Empty trash and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
• Move furniture as needed to access spaces.

About the Role: Shampoo/Cleaner

As our Shampoo/Cleaner, you will play an integral role in delivering an exceptional guest experience while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Your Impact

Responsibilities

• Dust, mop, sweep, scrub, polish, vacuum, buff, wax, strip, dust, and/or spot-clean all floor surfaces, baseboards, and walls.
• Clean and maintain a variety of surfaces, including marble, terrazzo, tile, carpet, and other flooring materials, while performing duties that require lifting, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
• Dust and clean furniture, columns, pictures, shelves, and other fixtures, including areas that require reaching overhead or using ladders up to 30 feet in height.
• Clean and polish brass, glass, windows, and mirrors.
• Clean and maintain ashtrays and urns and empty trash receptacles.
• Move, push, pull, and/or lift furniture as necessary to properly clean and maintain work areas.

Supportive Functions

• Respond to guest questions and provide assistance, directions, and information as requested.
• Report suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, and other safety concerns to the Safety/Security Department.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting Shampooers as needed.

• Previous housekeeping or carpet-cleaning experience is helpful but may not be required.
