About the role
We are looking for a Overnight/Graveyard Shift- Night Cleaner who is passionate in providing only the highest levels of customer service. This position reports to our Director & Assistant Director of Housekeeping. Work authorization for this location is required.
What you will do
An Overnight Hotel Night Cleaner: Performs heavy cleaning to keep public areas and employee areas neat and clean.
Keeps all public areas neat, vacuumed and dusted . Makes sure mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevators and doors are clean and mark-free . Removes all trash from areas
Maintain supplies and clean all public areas of the hotel including staff areas as assigned by monument.
Maintain and clean the public washrooms. Each washroom to be checked each hour as a minimum.
Assist guests by answering questions.
Make routine checks of all public areas to ensure cleanliness and neatness.
Clean employees’ washrooms on all floors including pool area.
Make out work orders for any deficiencies and bring them to the Housekeeping Department.
Check guest elevators regularly, clean carpets, mirrors, and polish brass as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by Housekeeping Managers.
Every hour, check driveway and sidewalks for cleanliness.
To maintain a high standard of personal appearance – ensuring that your uniform is clean and presentable all times.
To be responsible for collecting and signing for work sheets and review it for any questions.
Get a master key at the start of duty. Report any loss of key immediately to supervisor and Security; Return the key always before leaving the property.
Be familiar with the Emergency, Fire and Safety Procedures;
Report to assigned areas(s) with required keys, equipment, supplies, etc.
Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
Carries out any other related duties as specified by your Supervisor.
Conduct self in a professional manner at all times. Adheres to the established standard of conduct and house rules, fire regulations, and department procedures and policies.
Report to work on time. Is aware of schedule at all times and if unable to attend work, notifies the Supervisor in adequate time.
Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
What you bring
High School education or equivalent experience is preferred.
Previous experience in Housekeeping preferred.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Ideal candidate will have:
Minimum one year hotel experience or related work
Ability to communicate professional and accurately via telephone.
This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
