Boar's Head Resort in Charlottesville, VA, is seeking a detail-oriented teammate to maintain kitchen and restaurant equipment and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.

The role involves cleaning all kitchen equipment, stove tops, ovens, deep fryers, coolers, tables, vents, and trash, helping with dishes when needed, and contributing to the loading dock and overall resort team effort.

Qualifications

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions.
• Ability to communicate orally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Ability to work 5-7 days per week in rotational shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Clean all kitchen equipment
• Clean all stove tops
• Clean all ovens inside and on top
• Clean all deep fryers
• Clean front line cooler drawers
• Wipe down all tables in entire kitchen
• Clean walls and ceiling vents
• Empty all trash cans
• Bring empty cardboard to dumpster
• Hose-out garbage cans
• Maintain the cleanliness of the loading dock.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors
• Contribute to overall resort team effort by completing additional duties as assigned.
• On occasion you will need to help with dishes
