Night Class A/B Truck Driver (Propane) - Odessa, TX

Summary

Transport and deliver lubricants, fuels, and chemicals. Prepare and maintain daily manifests to meet Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Comply with all company policies and federal, state, and local regulations regarding the safe transport of materials. Ensure trucks and trailers are properly placarded and loaded. Complete paperwork accurately and promptly. May perform loading and unloading activities. May drive locally or long distances.

Qualifications

  • Class A/B CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements
  • Propane bobtail delivery experience
  • Knowledge of propane installation skills
  • Valid Railroad Commission certification
  • Current 1-year DOT medical card
  • At least 1 year of verifiable full-time driving experience in the last 3 years
  • No more than one moving violation in the last 3 years; no felonies in the last 7 years; no misdemeanors in the last 5 years; no DUIs
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to work long hours, including day and night shifts
  • Ability to drive off-road and on narrow, steep roads
  • Ability to install tire chains in winter conditions
  • Ability to climb ladders and walk on truck tanks safely
  • Prolonged standing or sitting ability
  • Ability to lift 50-100 lbs
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening and in-truck driving test

Education

  • High school diploma or GED required

Working Conditions

  • Perform vehicle inspections, including climbing in and out of trucks
  • Extended working hours as needed
  • Lift and move heavy materials
  • Work in extreme weather conditions
  • Work in remote locations
  • Climb ladders to inspect cargo tanks
