Job summary

Qualifications include a science degree (Masters preferred), NYS license, 4+ years bench experience (or 10+ years for flexibility), strong communication, and robust computer and equipment skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or related field; Masters preferred.
• NYS clinical laboratory technologist license is required.
• Minimum 4 years bench experience with a Bachelor's degree or 2 years with a Master's degree; 10+ years preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily 24/7 operation of the Moses Chemistry Lab across all shifts.
• Ensure quality patient care and compliance with regulatory agencies.
• Develop, implement, and validate Chemistry methodologies with lab directors.
• Review and standardize Chemistry procedures across all campuses.
• Investigate adverse events, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee QA/QC program including proficiency testing and quality improvement projects.
• Manage staffing, hiring, training, and cross-training of technologists.
