Job summary

Cullman Regional Medical Center is seeking a Charge Nurse for the 7PM-7AM shift to lead a clinical team and ensure exceptional patient care.

The role delegates assignments, administers meds and IV therapy, evaluates census-driven staffing, and promotes safety and quality. A valid Alabama RN license and ACLS certification are required, with at least 1 year of RN experience; supervisor experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited nursing program and licensed in Alabama.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; supervisor experience preferred.
• ACLS certified; strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delegate assignments based on complexity, staff education and competency.
• Administer medication, IV therapy, and nursing policies.
• Make rounds on new admits and address issues.
• Evaluate staffing based on census and adjust accordingly.
• Promote patient safety and a positive patient/guest experience.
