UCHealth in Aurora, CO seeks an experienced RN to join Acute Care Surgical units as Charge RN. You will provide direct patient care, lead a multidisciplinary team, and ensure evidence-based practice on nights. This onsite role emphasizes safety, education, and high-quality patient outcomes.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing, RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of nursing experience, with a Nurse Leader style to support new staff and complex cases.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within three years of assuming the Charge RN position.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care in Acute Care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high acuity.
• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Model proficiency by precepting new staff and supporting ongoing clinical education.
