Maine Veterans’ Homes in Augusta, ME is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our care team as Charge Nurse for the Eagles Landing long-term care village. This role leads daily clinical operations and serves as a resource for residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

Shifts are 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., 36 hours per week, every other weekend required, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Our team is committed to high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Maine.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Ability to work harmoniously with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents per care plans and policies.
• Supervise CNAs and other nursing staff on shift.
• Coordinate and delegate assignments for staffing and workload balance.
• Monitor residents and respond to changes in status promptly.
• Administer medicines and treatments as ordered.
• Communicate with providers, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Document care accurately and timely.
