Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist (main campus) is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine APP (NP/PA) for the Clinical Decision Unit. The role supports overnight CDU coverage, participates in team-based patient care, and works under physician supervision within a high-volume, Level I trauma center.

Applicants should have PA or NP credentials, NC licensure (and NCCPA if PA), and BLS/ACLS; ENP/AGACNP experience encouraged. The department values collaboration, growth, and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program; Master’s degree preferred.
• Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License, NCCPA certification for PA.
• Nurse Practitioner: Master’s degree, NC RN/NP license, board certification (AANP/ANCC).

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight CDU care under physician supervision.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic evaluations and procedures.
• Maintain patient progress records and consult with supervising physicians as needed.
