Job summary
Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC, seeks a full‑time Emergency Medicine APP (NP/PA) to join the CDU team on the main campus. You will provide overnight coverage, perform diagnostic and therapeutic assessments under physician supervision, and collaborate with a high‑volume department focused on trauma, stroke, and STEMI care.

Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program; Master's Degree preferred.
- Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License, NCCPA certified.
- 1 year PA experience.
- Current BLS certification required to start.
- DEA and DPS registrations required to start.
- Graduation from a Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program; Master’s degree required.
- Current North Carolina Board of Nursing RN/NP license.
- Board certification as NP by AANP or ANCC.
- 1 year ENP or ACNP experience.
- BLS certification required to start.
- DEA and DPS registrations required to start.
Responsibilities
- Participates in team‑focused patient care; examinations augmented by diagnostics and interventions.
- Under physician supervision, perform diagnostics and prescribe treatment.
- Monitor patient progress and consult with supervising physician as needed.
- Carry out complex patient care under indirect supervision with advanced medical knowledge.
