Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Ontario, CA. This local home-daily role offers $25.00 per hour, 40 hours per week, paid training, and weekly pay. Shift from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM with yard and local routes including no-touch freight.

Ryder provides medical, dental & vision after 30 days, PTO from day 1 (up to 80 hours first year), uniforms, cell phone & boot allowances, and a 401(k) with company match. This is a path for a stable driving career with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle (9 months within past 3 years, or 2 years within past 5 years, or 5 years within past 10 years).

Responsibilities

• Safely handle and maneuver tractor trailers on the yard and on public roads.
• Comply with safety and DOT regulations, and participate in ongoing training.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
