Job summary

Schneider National is seeking drivers for dedicated NY routes. Operate liftgate trailers, perform hand unloads with pallet jacks, and execute complex backing maneuvers. Expect 5 loads weekly with 10 stop-offs, traveling within New York state but not NYC.

Drivers are required to hold a valid CDL-A with HazMat endorsement and reside within 50 miles of Ilion, NY. Competitive pay, benefits, and sign-on bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• HazMat endorsement required at time of hire.
• Live within 50 miles of Ilion, NY.

Responsibilities

• Haul auto parts in liftgate trailers.
• 100% hand unloads using electric pallet jack.
• Regularly perform slow-speed maneuvers and complex backs.
• 5 loads per week with 10 stop-offs per load.
• Travel within New York, no New York City.
