1103 Team Member Services is seeking a Registered Nurse for a PRN Night shift in Shawnee Mission, KS. The role requires critical thinking, data collection, and collaborative care planning within a faith-based healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, with a preference for a Bachelor’s in Nursing, and 2+ years of acute hospital experience. Valid RN licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Must have RN licensure and current practice in Kansas.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Proficiency in documenting health data and care plans.
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates critical thinking appropriate to patient’s level of care.
• Collects and documents patient health data systematically and timely.
• Conducts ongoing patient assessments and develops individualized, evidence-based care plans.
• Implements interventions from the plan safely, timely, and accurately, documenting actions.
• Collaborates on patient admission, discharge, and transfer following hospital policy.
• Participates in peer interviews and peer review processes as needed.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, procedures, and care plans.
• Maintains regulatory compliance and ethical practice.
• Participates in quality, safety, and efficiency initiatives in nursing.
