Job summary

Integral Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver/Medication Technician to provide high-quality care to residents during the night shift. The role includes administering medication, aiding with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or LPN is preferred.
• Experience in a caregiving role is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of medications and health regulations is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer prescribed medications accurately.
• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing and grooming.
• Monitor residents for any changes in condition and report findings.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of residents’ living areas.
• Respond promptly to emergencies or resident needs during the night.

Our community is looking for a Care Giver to join our team.

The Care Giver's role includes providing hands on care and physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home like environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities
  
  

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management and co-workers
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
