Job summary

Southeast Health in Dothan, AL is seeking a Cardiology Night Shift RN to support after-hours cardiology services. The RN will assist physicians, monitor patients, and document care in the EMR to ensure continuity of care.

Responsibilities include triaging after-hours calls, preparing hand-off reports, and educating patients and families about heart health while upholding confidentiality and high clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Unencumbered RN license in the State of Alabama.
• Three years RN experience with one year cardiology nursing experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, CPR, and ECG certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologist with rounds and organize patient data for efficient access.
• Answer after-hours calls/pages related to cardiology service needs.
• Monitor patients' vitals during night and weekend shifts.
• Document patient information in the EMR accurately.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow orders.
• Provide hand-off reports and educate patients/families on heart health.
