Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health seeks an Advanced Practice Provider for the Cardiac Surgery department at the New Brunswick campus. This mainly night CVICU role requires autonomy and critical care expertise, with weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications include NP with Acute Care or Adult certification or PA program completion, plus 3-5 years of critical care experience and NJ APN/PA license. Salary ranges from $125,000 to $195,000 per year, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate NP with Acute Care certification or Adult-Gerontology background.
• PA graduates must be from an accredited PA program.
• 3-5 years of critical care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced practice medical care in CVICU with night shift coverage.
• Perform central/arterial line placements and chest tube procedures as needed.
• Make autonomous treatment decisions and drive patient care forward.
