Job summary

The University of Georgia is seeking a Campus Safety Ambassador to help protect facilities, people, and property on the Athens campus. You will patrol, escort students, and respond to incidents during the 7:00pm–3:00am shift, coordinating with the campus police as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least five years of related experience, strong observation and communication skills, and the ability to use two-way radios and basic medical support such as CPR, AED, or Narcan

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of related experience.
• Ability to patrol and escort campus communities and respond to incidents.
• CPR, AED, Narcan training or ability to obtain training if needed.
• Ability to operate two-way radios and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Campus Patrol: conduct walking patrols and secure doors as needed.
• Provide safety escorts to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or property damage.
• Stay up to date on training and CSA technology.
