Job summary

Ardent Mills is seeking a Bulk Plant Loader for the Lake City, MN facility on the night shift (6:30pm-6:30am). You will lead as needed, blend flour to customer specs, and operate lab instruments with safety and accuracy, while cross-training across mill operations for development and reliability.

Strong teamwork and adherence to GMP/HACCP policies are required. You will collaborate with CSR, truck drivers, and rail crews; basic computer skills and data entry into plant systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter and a team player.
• Excellent planning and organization skills.
• Understand and follow GMP, HACCP, sanitation policies.
• Trained in Preventative Maintenance.
• Understand written customer specifications and blend flour to meet specs.
• Able to analyze flour with lab instruments and operate lab instruments safely.
• Good computer skills and data entry in plant control systems.
• Strong communication with CSR, drivers, and railroad crews.

Responsibilities

• Lead as needed and work with supervisor to manage daily tasks.
• Operate plant control systems and record data.
• Create COA as needed and ensure traceability.
• Interact with CSR, truck drivers, and railroad crews.
• Overtime may be required for daily and weekend operations.
• Participate in department meetings and safety/quality initiatives.
• Cross-train in at least one other position for development.
