Newly Weds Foods in Watertown, MA is seeking a Third Shift Bulk Loader to bolster our warehouse team. The role involves handling tanker pumping operations, sampling for QC, and coordinating with truck drivers to ensure safe, efficient unloading of flour or starch.

Applicants must be fluent in reading and writing English due to paperwork with drivers and safety documentation. The position emphasizes safety, timely checks of pressure gauges, and adherence to quality standards in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school, or equivalent, education.
• Knowledge about manufacturing food preferred.
• Able to communicate well verbally and in writing and have good mathematical skills.
• Able to wear a fall protection harness and climb the ladder to the side of a tanker truck to take a sample for quality control.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product and pull sample from tanker for quality control to inspect.
• Inspect truck for cleanliness and ensure no seals have been broken.
• Interact with truck drivers and work with them to ensure the truck is pumped out in a safe and efficient manner.
• Monitor pressure gauges during the pump process and inspect all critical control points every 30 minutes.
• Troubleshoot pumping process and elevate issues to warehouse or maintenance when needed.
• Communicate non-conforming situations to a supervisor on duty.
• Maintain a clean/safe work area and report any non-conformance.
• Wear appropriate safety equipment as required.
