Job summary

LAUKOA seeks a Boiler Operator to ensure continuous, safe operation of boilers and related equipment. You will monitor heating systems, perform maintenance, log readings, and address abnormal conditions in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

The role requires 2+ years of boiler experience, knowledge of water chemistry, and the ability to read gauges and schematics. U.S. citizen or lawful status and DHS background check eligibility are required. Shift: 2300-0800.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating commercial or industrial boiler systems.
• Knowledge of boiler operation, water chemistry, combustion control, and safety procedures.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and basic mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust boiler systems to maintain prescribed temperatures and pressures.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspections on boilers, pumps, and valves.
• Record daily readings, maintain operational logs, and report abnormal conditions.
• Diagnose and resolve operational issues and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Conduct water treatment testing and chemical adjustments to ensure system efficiency and safety.
• Adhere to applicable facility safety procedures and regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, and PWS Section C.5.G).
• Respond to emergency situations related to heating or boiler system failures.
