NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a Mental Health Worker for night per diem shifts at the 11N unit. You will promote patient safety, observe and report, and build therapeutic relationships that support recovery in a patient-centered environment.

You will assist patients with daily activities, reinforce independence and dignity, and respond to signs of distress while contributing to multidisciplinary treatment decisions.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association - AHA).
• Maintenance of Basic Life Support certification.
• Demonstrate commitment to continued learning & orientation completion.
• Ideal candidates aspire to careers or degrees in psychiatry.
• Experience working with behavioral health patients in an acute care setting.
• A college degree and at least one year of psychiatry-related experience.
