Job summary

Gracie Square Hospital in New York is seeking a Mental Health Worker for the Dual Focus unit on the night shift. You will observe and document patients' behaviors, report key findings to nursing staff, and build therapeutic relationships to support healing.

You will assist patients with daily activities and intervene during moments of anxiety, contributing to a patient-centered, healing environment. This is a full-time night position with rotating weekends and on-site requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Observe and document patients' physical, emotional, and social behaviors.
• Report key insights to the nursing staff.
• Build therapeutic relationships with patients and provide support during moments of anxiety.
• Assist patients with daily activities that promote healing and independence.
