Job summary

JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a BH Technician II for night shift in a psychiatric unit. You will assist with direct patient care under the RN, participate in group activities, and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

This role requires BLS certification and Non-Aggressive Crisis Management; experience levels align with BH Tech II. Hours are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, on-site at TSP-North, with responsibilities including transfers and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Certification in Non-Aggressive Crisis Management is required and must be maintained.
• Current BLS certification required and must be maintained.
• Experience levels corresponding to BH Tech I–IV as described in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering direct patient care and document results (vital signs, specimens).
• Engage patients in groups and maintain a therapeutic milieu with the treatment team.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and secure valuables per policy.
• Support activities of daily living and non-aggressive crisis management.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality; hand off information to nurses.
• Escort and transport patients as needed; collaborate with housekeeping for cleanliness.
