Home2 Suites Bozeman MT is seeking a Night Auditor to manage overnight hotel operations and ensure accurate financial reporting for the day’s activities.

You will balance daily transactions, assist late-arriving guests, and prepare reports for morning management, while maintaining high service standards and security throughout the night.

This full-time hourly role requires independence, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with hotel systems; weekend and holiday coverage is expected.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of accounting and reconciliation.
• Ability to work independently overnight and handle decisions.
• Proficiency with PMS and basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail in financial transactions.
• Excellent English communication, both verbal and written.
• Commitment to weekends/holidays as needed.
• Experience in hotel front desk/night audit preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly audit of front desk, reservations, and POS transactions.
• Reconcile guest folios, room charges, and payments; resolve discrepancies.
• Run end-of-day reports and share with stakeholders.
• Check in/out guests during overnight hours following procedures.
• Respond to guest requests calmly and professionally at night.
• Monitor property security and safety during overnight shifts.
• Prepare daily reports, registration materials, and key packets.
• Balance and secure cash drawers, process deposits, and follow cash handling.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance on room status overnight.
• Keep lobby/front desk clean and welcoming for early-morning guests.
• Adhere to hotel policies, confidentiality, and safety.
• Support other overnight tasks to ensure smooth operations.
