NIGHT AUDITOR

Associates are paid weekly!

Summary

Compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Perform routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to maintain guest account records. Check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings related to business transactions. Accommodate hotel guests by registering and assigning rooms, issuing keys, transmitting messages, keeping records, making reservations, and collecting payments.

Essential Functions

  • Review and analyze all adjustments.
  • Understand accounting machine functions for front office.
  • Ensure charges are posted correctly to guest folios or master accounts.
  • Post room tax to each account.
  • Balance all charges and adjustments, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Answer telephone and assist guests with check-in/check-out.
  • Attend mandatory meetings and report unsafe conditions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including cross-training.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Treat others with respect and promote teamwork.

Physical Description

  • Stand constantly at the front desk.
  • Perform repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, and crouching.
  • Lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
  • Pushing/pulling up to 20 lbs. occasionally.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Exposure to fumes, chemicals, vibrations, humidity, cold, heat, dust, and noise.
  • Follow safety standards and procedures.
  • Work involves noise from printers and telephones.
