Overview
Perform night audit operations to ensure the maintenance of financial controls and compliance with hotel standards. Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Security, Housekeeping) to ensure quality service to guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing Point of Service tapes/journals to breakdown revenue, covers, waiters' fees, tips paid out, and settlements by type and cashier.
2. Run audit reports/journals from the front office system, Point of Service, and the computer.
3. Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems that might occur during the shift.
4. Input into the front office system revenue/expenses/allowances to generate daily reports such as Guest Ledger Summary and Daily Restaurant Summary.
5. Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset the system for next day operations.
6. Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
7. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Hotel experience preferred.
2. Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform accurate calculations using a 10-key.
3. Ability to effectively address guest and associate concerns in a friendly manner.
4. Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
5. Effective verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.

Salary Range: $18.00 per hour
