Job summary

Crestline Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Night Clerk in Baton Rouge to manage overnight front desk operations, handle check-ins/outs, and provide guest service excellence. You will balance nightly accounting, run reports, and support housekeeping as a requested “Runner” during the midnight shift.

Responsibilities include resolving guest concerns, maintaining knowledge of hotel services and rates, processing payments, and auditing cash and POS activity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of prior hotel front desk experience.
• Must be able to work the overnight shift 11pm–7am.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor knowledge of hotel features, services, room types, rates, and promotions.
• Process currency exchanges and guest account payments.
• Operate PMS and POS systems, post transactions, and balance accounts.
• Close day, run end-of-day reports, and backup system files.
• Attend monthly department meetings and training sessions.
