Job description

Overview:

Park Place Hotel is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our Front Desk team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys quiet, structured work and has a strong grasp of both customer service and basic accounting principles. The Night Auditor ensures accurate overnight financial reporting and supports late-night guest services to maintain our standard of warm, professional hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately complete and balance all daily hotel financial transactions and reports.

  • Reconcile and audit all front desk postings and revenue.

  • Prepare and deliver the daily management reports, including occupancy and revenue summaries.

  • Monitor overnight security and respond to guest inquiries and needs.

  • Perform nightly front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations.

  • Ensure accurate completion of the nightly audit checklist and cash drawer reconciliation.

  • Communicate important overnight events to morning management teams.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby.

Qualifications:
  • Prior hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

  • Proficient with computers; experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) is a plus.

  • Must be reliable, punctual, and capable of handling overnight shifts.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
