Job summary

Aloft Philadelphia Downtown is seeking a reliable Night Auditor to balance revenue, settle accounts nightly, and support Guest Service Agent duties. You will maintain records, run daily reports, and ensure a smooth system reset for the next day’s operations.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, prior night audit or accounting exposure, and strong Excel/arithmetic skills. FSD training within 90 days is preferred.

Qualifications

• Night audit and basic accounting duties.
• Proficiency with Excel and arithmetic.
• Experience with nightly balance and revenue reconciliation.
• FSD (Front Desk Supervisor) is a plus and must be obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Balance accounts and conduct nightly audits.
• Track room availability and guest accounts.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports.
• Audit and reconcile cashiers and card transactions.
• Input financial data into BRAINS network.
• Assist with guest check-in/check-out and guest services tasks.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Aim to improve guest satisfaction scores.
• Observe safety procedures and wear protective gear.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Balance revenue and settle accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset the system for the next day of operations while performing Guest Service Agent tasks and duties.

Front Office Supervisor/Accounts Payable or Receivable Clerk – Front Office Manager

Your Focus

• Perform bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits.
• Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts, manually or using computers.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports.
• Audit and reconcile cashiers.
• Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis.
• Input and update financial information into the BRAINS network.
• Check guests in/out and perform Guest Service Agents tasks.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background And Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous night audit/accounting experience or equivalent training required.
• Computer knowledge/Excel and arithmetic skills required.
• FSD is a plus, required within 90 days of employment.
