Job summary

Niles Youngstown Hampton Inn by Hilton is seeking a Night Auditor to ensure guest satisfaction and accurate nightly accounting. This role supports front desk operations and prepares the hotel for the next day.

Qualifications

• Night audit experience and ability to work overnight shifts.
• Proven ability to handle cash, checks and credit transactions accurately.
• Desire to provide exceptional guest service during night hours.

Responsibilities

• Keeps accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions.
• Verifies room charges and rates; verifies register has starting cash.
• Manages daily paperwork including occupancy report, guest list, cash drawer summary, balance sheet, and history file.
• Submits reports to corporate office as appropriate.
• Blocks rooms and handles guest requests.
• Performs and documents security walks on a regular basis.
• Has knowledge of emergency procedures and implementation of procedures.
• Prepares continental breakfast on time; replenishes breakfast items as needed.
• Performs duties of a Guest Service Agent, including laundry functions as directed.
• May be required to make management decisions in manager’s absence.

• 6 months – 1+ year of Night Audit experience preferred
• Desire to work overnight shifts
• Ability to keep accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions
• Ability to manage and keep accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions
