Job summary

Las Vegas Candlewood Suites by IHG in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Night Auditor to ensure accurate nightly accounting, guest service excellence, and readiness for the next day. The role combines front desk duties with balance sheets, occupancy reporting, and security checks in a hospitality setting.

Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1+ year of night audit experience and a desire to work overnights. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1+ year of Night Audit experience preferred.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts.
• Ability to keep accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest records.

Responsibilities

• Keeps accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions.
• Verifies room charges and rates; verifies register has starting cash.
• Manages daily paperwork: occupancy report, guest list, cash drawer summary, balance sheet, history file, housekeeping report.
• Submits reports to corporate office as appropriate.
• Blocks rooms and handles guest requests.
• Performs security walks on a regular basis.
• Assists in continental breakfast preparation and replenishment.
• Performs duties of a Guest Service Agent as directed.

SUMMARY

Computes, records, and verifies numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Keeps accurate accounts of cash, checks and credit transactions
• Handles confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity
• Verifies room charges and rates; verifies register has appropriate starting cash
• Manages daily paperwork including occupancy report, guest list, cash drawer summary, balance sheet, account
• summary, history file, and housekeeping report
• Submits reports to corporate office as appropriate
• Blocks rooms and handles guest requests
• Performs and documents security walks on a regular basis
• Has a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and implementation of procedures
• Prepares continental breakfast on time; replenishes breakfast items as needed
• Performs duties of a Guest Service Agent, including laundry functions as directed
• May be required to make management decisions in manager’s absence
• All other duties as assigned
