Stonebridge is seeking a dedicated Night Auditor for our Times Square property in New York. The Night Auditor will balance revenues, perform bookkeeping duties, and assist guests with check-ins/check-outs, ensuring a smooth overnight operation.

Ideal candidates have hospitality or customer service experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with a property management system. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently on a night shift.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic bookkeeping and balancing financial transactions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in using property management systems and office software.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to hotel guests.
• Balance daily receipts and revenues; perform income audits.
• Assist guests with check-out processes and resolve discrepancies.
• Answer phone calls and guest inquiries promptly.
• Coordinate with overnight housekeeping or maintenance to resolve issues.
• Make reservations and ensure accurate data entry.
• Provide guests with information on hotel services and local attractions.
• Cross-train in PBX and Reservations to fill in roles when needed.
• Perform nightly bucket checks and wake-up calls.
• Ensure security and safety during overnight shifts.

The Night Auditor is responsible for closing the business day by balancing revenues and receipts, performing bookkeeping activities, and providing guest services such as check-ins, check-outs, and addressing guest inquiries, ensuring a smooth overnight operation of the hotel.Essential Functions and Duties:Greet, register, and assign rooms to hotel guests.Verify customer payment methods and process credit authorizations.Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts using the property management system.Balance daily receipts and revenues, conducting income audits on posted revenues.Assist guests with check-out processes, reviewing accounts and resolving discrepancies.
