Lodgco Hospitality, overseeing Canopy by Hilton in downtown Grand Rapids, is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and guest-focused Night Auditor to join our team on a part-time basis.

In this role you will assist with overnight audits, hotel guest services, and overnight valet operations, thriving in a quiet, independent work environment while delivering top-tier guest service. Candidates should be available Thursdays and Fridays 11pm–7am, with 1–2 years of hotel experience preferred.

• 1–2 years of hotel experience is a plus.
• Availability to cover Thursdays & Fridays 11pm–7am is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform guest registrations (check-ins/checkout), room assignments, and special requests.
• Knowledge of daily hotel operations, policies, and procedures.
• Handle guest inquiries and ensure guest problems are resolved.
• Assist with overnight valet services including parking and luggage handling.
• Email daily reports to accounting office.
• Answer phones, sort mail, and take messages.

Canopy by Hilton, a beautiful modern boutique hotel located in downtown Grand Rapids, is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and guest-focused individual to join our team as a part-time Night Auditor. In this role, you will assist with overnight audits, hotel guest services, and overnight valet operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a quiet, independent work environment and enjoys delivering top-tier guest service.

Please note: We are seeking candidates with availability to cover Thursdays & Fridays 11pm-7am.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for serving guests at the front desk while providing the highest level of service possible in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Perform guest registrations (check ins & check outs), room assignments, and specialrequests
• Knowledge of daily hotel operations, policies, procedures, and internalrules
• Knowledge of Brand’s operating systems and Brand’s customer loyaltyprograms
• Knowledge of guest rooms, locations, amenities, features, and all other servicesoffered
• Knowledge of room rates, packages, discounts, andpromotions
• Ensure proper credit when checking out guest(s) and handle late charges accordingly
• Knowledge of cash handling and bank procedures to check out allguest(s)
• Bank out at end of shift by following dropprocedures
• Email daily reports to accounting office
• Answer phones, handle mail, and takemessages
• Assist guests with problems and questions; ensure all guest problems areresolved
• Knowledge of the city, local area, andattractions
• Utilize spare time for cleaning (i.e. front desk, back office, common areas) and maintaining sidewalks and frontentry
• Know all emergency procedures and the proper action totake
• Operate safe depositboxes
• Inspectconferencerooms,commonareas and public restroomstoensure cleanliness
• Perform security walks of hotel
• Investigate and address noise/party issues
• Assist guests with overnight valet services including parking and retrieving vehicles, assisting with luggage and adhering to all valet operating procedures

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

Valid driver’s license and safe driving record – satisfactory criminal background screening required – professional references

This position doesn’t manage any staff members.

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This position must be available during 3rd shift hours between 11pm-7am.
