Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Greets guests as they arrive, focusing on personal recognition.
• Reviews arrival lists daily and assists in preparing and assembling welcome amenities.
• Escorts VIPs to rooms and checks them in prior to arrival.
• Answers the telephone within three rings with a smile and answers questions or transfers as needed.
• Responsible for issuing cash; counts cash at beginning and end of shift; ensures all cash drops comply with cash handling procedures and reports cash over/shorts to management.
• Keeps front desk area clean and organized.
• Assists with lobby activation as needed.
• Utilizes proper procedures when handling guest PPI data.
• Follows a checklist when checking guests in or out, always retrieving necessary identification documents and form of payment upon arrival.
• Attends promptly to guest needs and inquiries.
• Performs various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.

Education And Experience

• Minimum of one (1) year in front desk operations.
• In-depth knowledge of hotel front desk operations.
• Minimum of high school education.

• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members.
• Excellent time-management skills.
