Powdr Corp. operates Stovepipe Wells Village in Death Valley National Park. Night Auditor role focuses on greeting guests, auditing and balancing accounts, and processing cash/card transactions.

On-site housing is provided. Flexible shifts include weekends/holidays; CPR w/AED desired and training provided on hire. Compensation is $19–$21 per hour, DOE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ work experience in accounting or cash handling.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Technical skills for accounting and data entry required.
• Experience with RoomMaster is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, answer questions and explain regulations.
• Run Daily Reports to audit and balance all department accounts.
• Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions.
• Take payments and post accurately to guest accounts.
• Follows set policies regarding cash handling.
• Complete and send daily, monthly, quarterly reports to GM/site management.
• Communicate with other departments in a friendly and professional manner.
• Handle incoming telephone calls and other guest communication discreetly.
• Report disturbances to MOD and document issues in logs.
• Maintain written records and cooperate with security checks.

## Night AuditorApply: Death Valley, CA: Posted Today: JR7255**Stovepipe Wells in Death Valley National Park - Journey Beyond the Ordinary.** Stovepipe Wells has an 80-room hotel, restaurant, bar, pool, gas station, general store, and gift shop. Stovepipe is a welcoming, safe, and environmentally responsible resort providing accommodations and services inside Death Valley National Park. POWDR operates Stovepipe Wells under a long-term concession contract with the National Park Service. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Greet and assist visitors, answer questions and explain regulations.* Run Daily Reports to audit and balance all department accounts,* Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions using established procedures* Take payments and post accurately to guest accounts* Follows set policies regarding cash handling* Completes and sends daily, monthly, quarterly reports to the GM and site management team.* Communicates with other departments in a friendly and professional manner* Be aware of local attractions and restaurants and make recommendations to guests* Handle incoming telephone calls and other guest communication in a discreet fashion* Accurately communicate with other shifts regarding issues arising from day-to-day operations.* Communicates employee call outs by email to department supervisors, HR, and GM.* Observe and report security and safety of visitors and staff to the Manager on Duty (MOD)* Report all emergency, medical and security related situations as trained in company emergency action plans and notify MOD.* De-escalate situations as trained.* Do not attempt to discipline or apprehend any park violators. Front Desk/Night Auditor will report all disturbances to the Manager on Duty (MOD).* Keep a written report of complaints and criticism of park facilities, report situations that could affect the health and safety of visitors and report any security and safety concerns which need immediate attention.* Maintain other written records as requested by the Management **Other Duties as Assigned:*** This job description is an overview of the scope of responsibilities for this job and is not intended to be an inclusive list of job tasks and expectations.
